For those members wishing to familiarize themselves with the features of MS "VISTA", both Business & Home Premium operating systems, it is now installed on Machines 5, 6, & 7.

Microsoft Silverlight
If you are a user who checks just what comes in with Microsoft Update you may encounter an optional update called Microsoft Silverlight. If you don't and have Windows Update set to auto then you may get this update irrespective.
It is a browser plug in that competes with Adobe Flash & Shockwave for handling vector graphics and animations. If you already running these plug ins for Internet Explorer or Firefox then installing Silverlight achieves nothing and may cause rendering problems.
There are compatibility issues too depending on your browser version and operating system.

You may then look at changing the auto update setting to "Inform me but don't download or install" as an option for more control.
