Welcome
The Southern Highlands Computer Users Group (SHCUG) was formed in 1995 with the objective of assisting the members of our community, particularly seniors, to use and enjoy the benefits of computer technology through meetings, and other educational activities.
Our membership includes beginners through to those who are highly competent. There is always the need for every member to keep up with developments, and also to reinforce the myriad of skills that are part of getting more from computers. This is is achieved through monthly meetings, and at our Education Centre with courses, workshops and one to one sessions.
Meetings are held in the Community Centre, Boardman Road, East Bowral on the first Tuesday of each month except January, and are well attended. The meeting format is for presentations on relevant subjects, and always covers a range from basic to advanced. Guests are welcome to these meetings, and refreshments are served.
The Education Centre is located at Unit 5, HarbisonCare, Charlotte Street, Burradoo. The Centre is well equipped with both PC and Macintosh computers, printers, scanners and a projector to assist with courses, workshops, one to one sessions and special interest groups.
Our monthly newsletter, 'Keyword' keeps members up to date with technical developments and the group's activities.

SHCUG is a member of the Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association (ASCCA).
The patron of SHCUG is the Mayor of Wingecarribee Shire Council.
